To make a beautifully crafted narrative film, you need a team of collaborators and artists to help bring the vision of the story to life, creating high quality production value as well as solving practical challenges that every film inherently faces. With your help, we can finance the resources needed to create this unique story and present it to an audience with the utmost professionalism and level of detail. The finishing touches on a film such as sound and color are crucial to having a succseful film, and submitting to festivals worldwide can help bring the film to a global audience. There is such a lack of Palestinian stories in mainstream cinema - now is the time to share a new perspective with the world and have it be done in the best way possible.

Why donate?

A black and white photo of a worried-looking woman holding a baby, with a sign in the background partially showing words "Jericho & Jeruslm." The baby is wearing a knitted hat.

This project can truly have an emotional impact on the Palestinian community but more importantly, reach an even bigger demographic globally. This film can offer an incredibly eye opening perspective that is digestible in the form of an entertaining narrative story.

A group of people, including children, walking on a dirt path carrying belongings.

The goal of this film is to reach people that have not heard the voice of the Palestinian struggle and to touch them on a human level, making them ask important questions about what they have been taught, and hopefully pushing them to gain a new positive understanding of Palestinians, viewing them as more than just martyrs from across the world, but a beautiful global nation of people that are creative, talented, hard working and are also apart of your neighborhoods and communities.

A black and white photo showing a crowd of people in a narrow alley. Some individuals are carrying a large cross, suggesting a religious procession or event. The attendees wear mid-20th-century clothing.

There seems to be only a handful of Palestinian narrative films, and even less so in short narrative form. Due to the quality and strength of this story, it could be incredibly powerful and stand out amongst the current market of films, amplifying Palestinian voices that are often times suppressed.

Just because you cannot contribute financially, doesn't mean we still can't use your help:

  • Watch the film in festivals and share it when it is released publicly online

Our Last Successful Campaign

Although our last campaign did not reach the exact funds we needed, we still successfully raised more than 80% of our goal with over 50 backers, which was more than enough to start our film production.

Screenshot of an Indiegogo campaign page for a short film "If Birds Believed in God." The campaign is closed, with $16,650 raised by 50 backers out of a $20,000 goal. Options for perks include digital poster art, film script, early access, film music soundtrack, and VIP screening. The video thumbnail shows an illustrated face and text in Arabic and English.

With this new campaign, we hope to raise the money needed to finish the film as well as repay some of the costs accumulated during shooting production.
